Colombia Migration Project

The Colombia Migration Project is an ethnographic/videoblog project by María Gómez. Here is what she has to say about the project.

I am from Colombia, and I moved to the United States a few years ago. I studied anthropology and worked as ethnographer in New York.

In this project, I am interviewing Colombians in the US and in Colombia about their experience as immigrants, or their hopes about immigration.

I started interviewing Colombians in New York, and will start posting those videos here once they’re edited. In November I will go to Colombia and interview people there.

This is a personal, informal project. I just felt that it was important, that someone should do it, and before I knew it the project started.
